In a scenario of leaving behind everything you know and start from scratch, the uncertainty eases when all steps of the journey moving forward are designed, thought through and there is a network of experts and partners waiting to give their best services at every step taken.
At shelters families are identified that are willing to come to Portugal and key information is gathered to send to key stakeholders in all stages of the journey.
Safe transportation arranged to bring these families to Portugal.
Existing network of accommodations available and Spread network partners will arrange for a 3 to 5 months temporary accommodation and needs.
A talent database is created with information gathered at the border (Step 1) and companies currently hiring are approached to partner in the settlement process.
Long term accommodation, school and employment are arranged and family will have checks every three months for a year to ensure sustainability.
